It’s only Rock and Roll, but we like it.
The media event is finally over, and as expected Apple releases new iPod nano with video camera and freshened up the entire iPod line-up.

The new iPod nano comes with a number of new features including a video camera for video recording with the included microphone and speaker, FM radio with live pausing, the new Genius Mix feature and iTunes tagging capability. It also has a VoiceOver feature which was built-in the current iPod shuffle. The screen is also enlarged to 2.2 inches but the overall size remains unchanged. It’s available immediately at $149 for the 8GB version and $179 for the 16GB version. Nine colors are available.
Another noticeable change is the iPod touch. The new 32GB and 64GB iPod touch models are “50% faster” than the previous models. It runs on OpenGL ES 2.0 which gives a huge performance boost for games and apps. The original 8GB iPod touch will be down from $249 to $199, the 32GB and 64GB models will be $299 and $399.
The iPod shuffle has some new color additions to its existing line-up. New colors include pink, green and blue colors, along with the existing silver and black will be selling for $59 for 2GB model and $79 for 4GB model. An exclusive model in stainless steel is available in Apple Store only and selling for $99 on a 4GB model.
The iPod classic only has a minor capacity bump to 160GB and selling at $249.
