Tips

  1. 1.Set yourself a budget first.

  2. 2.Bring your wife to see a demonstration and make sure she likes the projector you buy.

  3. 3.Make precise measurement for the length of the HDMI cable.

  4. 4.Make sure your projector support vertical and horizontal image shift that suits your living room. Different models have different magnitude of scaling the image position.

  5. 5.Invest on a decent HDMI cable. The longer cable you need, the more expensive one is necessary.

  6. 6.Make sure your room is dark enough when you use your curtains.

  7. 7.Investing in a projector is not a one-off. The life span of a projector is usually 2000 - 3000 hours depending on your usage.

  8. 8.An honest advice, don’t compare the one you want to buy with a more expensive model. The expensive one will definitely have a better video quality.

I would love to know the set up of your own home theatre and for my coming up guide.
